MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Don Bolduc is announcing a new statewide campaign tour of 50 town halls, starting this week in his hometown of Laconia.
The retired Army general is also rolling out a new “American Strength Agenda” that focuses on border security, domestic energy production, the economy and defense of liberty at home and abroad.
“We’ve been to all corners of the Granite State and I’m always encouraged by the spirit and enthusiasm we receive on the campaign trail,” Bolduc said. “People have a lot on their minds and I can’t wait to hit the road on a town hall tour, having that conversation with the great people of New Hampshire.”
Bolduc was the first to jump into the race against incumbent Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, declaring his intent to run just weeks after the 2020 election.
While his fundraising has lagged behind other contenders in the GOP primary field, several polls have shown that Bolduc has solid name recognition and could be competitive with Hassan in this year’s general election.
